Office Admin & Events Support Intern

The Office Administrator & Events Support role is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations within the Birmingham office while providing administrative support across departments. This position plays a key role in maintaining an organized, efficient and welcoming workplace and will also assist with our spring and summer events, such as the IndyCar race, Regions Tradition golf event and Birmingham Stallions football games.

Location: Birmingham, AL Office


Employment Type: Hourly, In-Office (February – May with potential to extend)


Key Responsibilities:
Office Operations & Administration:
•Manage front desk reception, including greeting visitors and overseeing front door security
•Manage the main office phone line, answering calls and routing to the appropriate team members
•Check, sort and distribute incoming mail
•Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels
•Order event supplies as needed in support of the events team
•Communicate office updates and maintenance needs with employees
•Oversee general office maintenance and coordinate with vendors as needed
•Provide general administrative support for employees
•Other items as needed


There may be potential opportunities to assist with Event Operations for our local Spring events: the IndyCar race, Regions Tradition golf event, and Birmingham Stallions football games, including the following areas:
-General event operations
-Ticketing support
-Volunteer coordination
-Merchandise support
