OEM Sales Manager

Summary of the role

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.

Develops and implements plans for sales and orders for the organization under his or her jurisdiction based on company policies and business strategies under the direction of higher-level managers and achieves goals.Lead and manage the organization under your jurisdiction to grow the business and achieve its goals.Sets sales and order targets for the staff of the organization under your control and supervises and reports on results and activities.Create new business opportunities and proactively drive organizational, business, and sales growth.Develop and lead plans to build close relationships with customers and expand business.Provide guidance and supervision to the staff of the organization under his or her control, ensure that the projects in the CRM system are up-to-date, and manage the order fulfillment process effectively and efficiently.Create and execute plans for customers, products, or regions based on the organization's pricing strategy.Cooperate with related departments to always maintain good relationships with customers.Constantly update yourself with the latest industry trends and technical knowledge by attending trade shows and seminars, checking professional journals and published information.Participate in internal and external training to continuously improve business knowledge and skills.Acquire knowledge of the company's products and keep them up to date.Obtain and share information about competitors and their products within the company and take appropriate measures.Understand the customer's manufacturing system and approach it from a technical perspective (suggestions and advice).Support higher-level managers and help them build a strong team with agility.Hold regular meetings to understand the status of the organizations under your jurisdiction and manage risks to a minimum.Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements / Preferred Skills, Abilities and Qualification

7+ years of sales/technical experienceLanguage skills (Japanese and English business beginner: TOEIC score of 600 or higher is desirable)Excellent verbal and written instructional skillsStrong Leadership QualitiesExcellent communication skillsLabor management knowledgeSales presentation experienceDriver's licenseGeneral skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
