Role Definition
Designs, develops, builds, and implements new components, products, or technologies.
Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end design and development of cab industry design, layout and operator interface systems for new machine platforms.
• Translate user needs, ergonomic principles, and brand identity into innovative and manufacturable design solutions.
• Develop and validate concepts using 3D tools, mock-ups, and simulation software.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of cab systems.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and design reviews to refine interface layouts and control placements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal design guidelines.
• Prepare and present design documentation, specifications, and technical reports.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality targets.
• Researching new materials and competitive products. Organizing, coordinating, and executing the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes.
• Assisting supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance. Overseeing the efforts of drafting and testing specialists.
• Developing and documenting functional requirements and translating into detail design documents. Participating in buy-build analysis for product components.
• Participating in and supporting proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports.
Degree Requirement
Degree required, requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.

Product Design - MFG: Knowledge of processes, approaches, tools and techniques of product design; ability to convert customer and market requirements into product design.
Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.
**This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.**
