Offshore Construction Manager (OCM)

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Offshore Construction Manager (OCM) to lead and oversee offshore construction and subsea operations. This role will play a pivotal part in the safe and efficient delivery of complex marine scopes, combining technical leadership with logistical and commercial oversight.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily offshore operations, ensuring all activities are executed in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. In addition to technical management, the OCM will handle project logistics, including coordination of crew and materials, and play a key role in the commercial management of contracts.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise all offshore construction and subsea operations Coordinate vessel activities, personnel logistics, and material planning Oversee execution of offshore project plans in alignment with client and company standards Act as focal point for offshore contract and commercial matters Ensure HSE compliance and foster a strong safety culture onboard Maintain accurate project reporting and communication with onshore teams

Requirements:

 

Previous experience as an OCM on subsea/offshore construction projects Experience in Angola or West Africa is highly desirable Strong background in offshore logistics, project planning, and execution Commercial experience including contract handling and project reporting Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Valid offshore certifications (BOSIET, Medical, etc.) Summary on Airswift:
