Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Hand Therapy
Location: Select Physical Therapy – Kissimmee, FL
Type: Per Diem | Pay: Starting at $26+/hr (based on experience)

Schedule: As needed, Monday–Friday (center hours: 8 AM–7 PM)
Bonus: Extra hours available if willing to float to nearby centers (within 30 mins)

 

Select Physical Therapy in Kissimmee is hiring a per diem COTA to support our outpatient hand therapy team. Work alongside an experienced OT/CHT treating upper extremity orthopedic conditions.

 

Requirements:

FL COTA license1+ year hand therapy experience preferred, or new grad with hand fieldwork Responsibilities Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients.Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable componentsEnsure delivery of high-quality patient care services.Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goalsEnsure proper documentation of patient care.Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies Qualifications Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) programNational registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIREDMust have previous experience working with hand therapy patients1+ year hand therapy experience preferred, or new grad with hand fieldworkCardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificationValid state driver’s license Additional Data
