Rehab Without Walls® is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to support our outpatient neuro rehabilitation clinic in Portland, Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, one-on-one care while working collaboratively within a skilled interdisciplinary team. You’ll help patients build independence and functional skills in a structured clinical environment designed to support recovery.

This opportunity is ideal for OTs seeking PRN flexibility with meaningful clinical engagement.

What You’ll Do:Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions in an outpatient neuro rehab setting.Support patients in developing functional skills to improve independence in daily activities.Collaborate with physical therapists, speech therapists, and clinical staff to meet patient-centered goals.Provide cognitive, ADL, and functional training interventions tailored to each patient.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.Who We’re Looking For:A licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Oregon.Experience in outpatient or neuro rehabilitation preferred.A collaborative, patient-focused professional who values clinical excellence.Availability to assist with true PRN coverage, including vacation, sick time, and additional clinic needs.What You’ll Receive:PRN Flexibility – As-needed coverage with a predictable outpatient location.Competitive Hourly Pay – Compensation reflective of experience and expertise.Educational Programs – Opportunities for continued learning and clinical development.Supportive Team Environment – Work alongside experienced clinicians in a collaborative clinic setting.

 

Responsibilities

What you will do: Responsibilities listed include but not limited to:

Perform evaluations and develop treatment plansRegularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferencesPerform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family membersCommunicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes Qualifications

What you will need:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university with an accredited Occupational Therapy program  Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist by state in which practicing  Current CPR CertificationA minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational TherapistDemonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferredCommunicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactionAbility to lift 50 poundsMoving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety proceduresDuties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periodsAdditional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times About our Line of Business Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
