Job Summary Job SummaryReports To: Director of Special Education FLSA Classification: Classified, 190-day Full Time/Part Time Status: Full Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Salary: Framework B- Range: $60,992 - $96,574 (columns A-H). Salary is commensurate with experience and education level. OT I Step 44 ($60,992 - $70,057) OT II Step 51 ($72,501 - $83,276 OT III Step 57 ($84,079 - $96,574) Application Opening: 6/1/25 Application Closing: 7/15/25 The Occupational Therapist is responsible for ensuring that occupational therapy services are delivered to students with various disabilities in accordance with the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Duties include: - Collaborates with team members for the purpose of providing individual, in-depth assessments of students to determine the nature and extent of motor disabilities. - Assess students' motor development and performance in activities related to curriculum and applicable to activities of daily living for the purpose of developing baseline information for placement and program development. - Reports assessment results for the purpose of providing feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding students' progress, expectations, goals, etc.
Requirements / Qualifications- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required - Prior job related experience sufficient to demonstrate the ability to perform functions of the position - A valid license by the California Board of Occupational Therapy is required - A valid Class C, California driver's license, a driving record that meets district insurability requirements, and use of a personal vehicle is required - Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates issued by an authorized agency are required
