Modality – Occupational Therapist (OT)
The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for performing student evaluations, developing and providing therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with each student’s individualized plan of care. This role supports students in achieving functional, academic, and developmental goals within the school setting.
Local Pay Rate: $72/HR
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform student evaluations and assess functional needs
+ Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
+ Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services
+ Document services and progress in accordance with the plan of care
+ Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
+ Maintain compliance with professional, ethical, and district standards
Minimum Requirements
+ Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice
+ One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred
+ Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR certification, if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable
+ Current Health Certificate, per contract or state regulations
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
Assignment Details
+ School District: Rio School District
+ Openings: 1 Occupational Therapist
+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time
+ Interview: ASAP (via Zoom)
+ Start Date: May 4
+ End Date: Remainder of the school year and ESY
