Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

In keeping with the Marian Regional Medical Center health care philosophy, the Registered Occupational Therapist II supports and promotes the provision of quality patient care under the direction of Registered Occupational Therapist Supervisor. Actively provides Occupational Therapy services to patients/residents, including evaluation and assessment, treatment program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Provides direct supervision of COTAs, students, volunteers and aides. Assists in the development and implementation of new programs and groups.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Two (2) or more years experience as a Registered Occupational TherapistCertification by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board (AOTCB) or satisfatcion of any current state legal requirementsCompetency as a general practitioner of Occupational Therapy as defined by AOTARegistered Occupation Therapist license (RG OT)Current and valid CPR-AHA certifcation (CT CPRBLS)

Preferred Requirements:

Membership in the AOTA
