🔍 What You’ll Be Doing:
Delivering client-centred Occupational Therapy interventions to promote independence and wellbeingSupporting individuals through complex assessments, including major and minor housing adaptations, reablement, and moving & handling strategiesSupervising and mentoring OT Assistants and other team membersProviding training, guidance, and specialist advice to families, carers, and professionalsContributing to safe and timely hospital discharges and community transitionsConducting independent mobility assessments, including for Blue Badge provisionWorking with clients in a variety of settings, including prison-based assessmentsPromoting innovative, cost-effective solutions to enhance client independence✅ What We’re Looking For:
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registrationAt least 2 years’ post-registration experienceStrong assessment and report-writing skillsA solid understanding of disability-related legislation and OT best practiceExperience in one or more of the following: housing adaptations, moving & handling, or paediatric/complex equipmentConfidence working in homes and multi-agency environmentsA proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solvingFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential car user allowance available)🌟 Why Work with Pertemps?
