Obesity Private Ecosystem Manager – Shape the Future of Obesity Care in Romania
Are you ready to lead a transformation in how obesity is managed across Romania’s private healthcare landscape? We are looking for a dynamic leader to build, scale, and redefine partnerships and capabilities in the private health ecosystem, with a focus on driving measurable change for people living with obesity nationwide.
As the Obesity Private Ecosystem Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the private health environment for obesity care, from forging strategic partnerships with private hospitals, insurers, telemedicine platforms, and pharmacy chains, to pioneering new approaches and capabilities that expand the obesity market.
This is a business development role at a high level. You will engage with boards, C-suite leaders, and cross-functional teams to open doors, negotiate collaborations, and develop scalable models that become benchmarks for the industry. Success in this role means leaving a lasting mark on how obesity is understood, accessed, and treated in Romania’s fast-evolving private sector.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the development and execution of a national private health strategy for obesity, aligned with business objectives and tailored to the realities of Romania’s market.Design and build new capabilities like processes, tools, and partnerships that set the standard for private ecosystem engagement.Identify, evaluate, and secure partnerships with key private health players like healthcare private institutions, insurers, telemedicine providersLead negotiations, craft agreements, and champion collaboration with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across the ecosystem.Work cross functionally, aligning efforts across commercial, medical, access, legal, and finance teams.Establish KPIs and success metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and tangible results.Frequent national travel to engage with partners and stakeholders on the ground.Skills
Exceptional analytical and strategic planning skills; able to assess complex market dynamics and make data-driven decisionsProven track record of leadership and delivering measurable business results in challenging environmentsOutstanding communication, influencing, and presentation abilities; able to build credibility and drive alignment at all levelsAdvanced business acumen and strong negotiation skills, with experience in high-stakes or board-level discussionsExcellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externallyStrong problem-solving mindset, with a bias for action and continuous improvementProfessional integrity, high work ethic, and a positive, energetic approachJob qualifications
