About the Day-to-Day:

Manage laboring patients, deliveries, and postpartum care in a patient-centered LDRP model. Address GYN emergencies and perform indicated procedures. Provide supportive backup to CNMs, including occasional clinic coverage in the attached MOB. Assist in complex surgical cases alongside a Gyn Oncologist when needed. Partner with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, seamless care for patients and families.

Annual deliveries: ~700 Team composition: 1 OB Hospitalist, 4 Midwives (growing to 6) + PRN coverage, 2 part-time and 3 full-time OBGYN generalistsSpecialty support: Maternal-Fetal Medicine (nearby), Urogynecology, GYN Oncology, Inpatient Neonatal Nurse PractitionersNICU: Level III, 5 beds Unit setup: 6 LDRP rooms in a cohesive, team-oriented unit; 2 Operating Rooms; 10 postpartum beds
