About the Role

Airswift is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in the energy sector for the position of Training Manager. 

The successful candidate will be embedded within the Commissioning & Operations (O&M) Teams and will take full ownership of the project training strategy from designing and implementing detailed training programs to managing cross-functional training teams and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive training plan, including detailed training manuals aligned with client standards.

Supervise the development and review of training materials across multiple LNG units.

Ensure vendor and licensor training requirements are met in accordance with project specifications.

Lead and manage a training team including coordinators, instructors, and technical writers.

Conduct follow-up and assessment of training outcomes; report on progress to internal stakeholders.

Interface regularly with Commissioning, Engineering, Client, and Vendor teams.

Plan and coordinate classroom, workshop, and on-the-job training sessions.

???????Reports to O&M Manager and collaborates closely with Client and Project Teams.

Required Experience

Minimum 10 years’ experience in training delivery and management within the LNG or onshore Oil & Gas sector.

Recognised technical qualification in Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical Engineering or relevant technical background.

Proven leadership in managing training teams and delivering complex training programs.

Experience working on large-scale EPC or owner-operator projects.

Certified trainer for Oil & Gas operators (preferred ADNOC-recognised or equivalent).

Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills.

Fluent in English; able to work in multicultural environments.

Strong understanding of LNG process operations and safety protocols.
