Job Description

As the NZ Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in managing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, preparing reports, and providing insights to drive business performance. You will collaborate across departments, support the Senior Business Finance Manager, and have the chance to gain exposure to various aspects of corporate finance.

This position offers excellent development opportunities, including hands-on experience with corporate financial systems, mentorship from experienced professionals, and participation in cross-functional projects. You will build analytical and problem-solving skills, enhance your understanding of business operations, and develop a strong foundation for future advancement in finance or related fields within a large organisation.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the commercial team with monthly assumption-based patient and sales forecastingMonitor, analyze and review spending with commercial teams every month (includes departmental spend and promo).  Coordinate the monthly supply forecast and review of monthly financial submission files.Assist the Finance Manager with preparation of the monthly management presentation.Support the Finance Manager in coordinating and consolidating financial forecasts. This includes monthly forecast, annual budget and 10-year planAssist the Finance team with local project work on an as needed basis.Analyse and process the invoices from our two key business partners tying the amounts back to commercial activities.
Qualifications
Qualification as CA/CPA essential Moderate to advanced knowledge & skills in excel, intermediate level knowledge of finance/accountingAbility to learn new systems and processes quicklyAccuracy in completing set tasks, ensuring quality work delivered to tight timelineStrong written and verbal communicationsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
