Title: NYRA Bets Players’ Club Host Employee Status: Regular Part Time Work From Home Option: Not Applicable FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Overview: Manages and directs the overall operation of the NYRA Bets Players’ Club at Aqueduct Longshots and Belmont Park. The Host will perform a variety of roles under the Guest Services Umbrella (e.g., greeting members, providing daily seating, providing racing publications; maintaining beverage station). Investigates and resolves problems/issues for all members that arise on a daily basis. Essential Functions: + Sets Monitors throughout the Players Club Room; + Prepares coffee station on a daily basis in Longshots Players club + Monitors Players’ Club Members and their guests; + Arranges seating chart for Players’ Club members; + Organizes and accounts for racing publications; + Distributes surface tablets to members; + Coordinates Special Events and Promotions as scheduled. Qualifications: + High School Degree or GED + 5 Years of Guest Service and Hospitality Experience + Knowledge of Horse Racing Industry necessary + Basic: + NYRA Admissions policies and procedures + Maintain Product Availability + Security procedures + Departmental files + Applied: + Security procedures + Departmental files + NYRA policies and procedures related to admissions + Comply with all NYRA Reward Policies Summary of Physical Requirements and Work Environment: + Primarily, sedentary in nature as this is more of an office role Pay Range / Salary: $18.00 hourly
