About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and service-oriented Customer Care Representative to support our client’s operations in Vestal, NY. You’ll be the voice of the company, assisting residential and commercial customers with inquiries related to waste collection, recycling, and sustainability services. Their culture is built on service, trust, responsibility, integrity, continuous improvement, and teamwork Key Responsibilities: + Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and online platforms + Resolve service issues, billing inquiries, and general questions with professionalism and empathy + Educate customers on recycling programs, Zero-Sort® services, and sustainable practices + Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service requests + Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer concerns Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree preferred + 1+ year of experience in customer service or call center environment + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to multitask and manage time effectively + Familiarity with CRM systems and basic computer proficiency What We Offer: + Competitive hourly pay + Opportunities for career advancement + Supportive team environment + Training in sustainability-focused customer service practices + A chance to contribute to a company making a real environmental impact Location Details: This position is based at the Vestal, NY hauling division, which provides comprehensive waste collection, recycling, and disposal services to the surrounding community. The facility operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Intermediate Leve Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
