NVH Engineer

Summary: Seeking an NVH Engineer with expertise in vehicle/heavy machinery testing, NVH instrumentation, and sound/vibration analysis for comprehensive test management and data analysis.

Requirements:

BS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural, or related field 5+ years of experience in vehicle/heavy machinery testing or product development 2+ years of experience with NVH test instrumentation and data acquisition tools 2+ years of experience in sound/vibration signal processing and sound quality analysis

Responsibilities:

Create detailed test requests with procedures and acceptance criteria Assign tests to engineers/technicians based on expertise and workload Select, calibrate, and install appropriate instrumentation for data integrity Perform tests on components, sub-systems, or full vehicles Collect and analyze data using software processing tools to assess performance Conduct frequency analysis, modal analysis, order tracking, transfer path analysis Document results through technical reports and present findings to stakeholders Benchmark competitive equipment for best-in-class positioning

Pay Details: $60.00 to $80.00 per hour
