A Nuuly Buying Intern would support the buying team in managing merchandise flow, developing product assortments, and building cross-functional relationships. Responsibilities may include attending meetings, assisting with the photo studio process, and working on projects related to competitive analysis and trend forecasting. 

Role Responsibilities Supporting the Buying Team:

This includes assisting with the day-to-day operations of the buying team, such as managing merchandise flow and supporting the creation of product assortments. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Building relationships with internal teams like the distribution center, buying operations, planning, website merchandising, brand creative, and the photo studio. 

Photo Studio Process:

Participating in the photo studio handoff process, providing input on styling and suggesting improvements. 

Market Research and Trend Forecasting:

Working on projects like competitive analysis, trend forecasting, and brand expansion opportunities to understand the market and customer preferences. 

Internship Programs:

Attending intern-wide programs to learn about the company, network with other interns, and gain insights into different departments. 

Project-Based Learning:

Completing a mutually beneficial project related to buying that showcases the intern's learning and areas of interest. 

Operational Support:

Assisting with the operational aspects of buying, such as managing purchase orders and tracking inventory.
