Performs skilled quantity food production and service in specified areas at school site level. Job Site: As needed Must be available Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Preferred Qualifications & Abilities: 

Experience in quantity food service. Knowledge of principles and methods of quantity food preparation, serving, and storage. Knowledge of care and use of food service equipment. Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures relating to food preparation and serving. Ability to effectively work under supervision with others and to effectively assist other food service personnel.

 

Essential Functions: 

Participates in preparation and serving of school breakfast, lunch, and component menu items. Assists in receiving and storing of food and supplies. Maintains satisfactory performance standards in food preparation techniques. Assisting in food preparation, baking, and cooking. Serving of food to students and staff. Cleaning, including but not limited to washing dishes, carts, food racks and walls, scrubbing floors, wiping tables, and emptying trash. Assisting with food and supply inventories. Operates register and collects student lunch tickets. Performs other duties as assigned by Superintendent or designee.
