**Responsibilities:**
+ Achieve product wise, monthly, quarterly and annual budget by adhering to set work norms (both value and volume targets).
+ Develop customer database through selection of towns, routes and profiling of customers.
+ Meet customers at a predefined frequency to ensure availability of all Abbott’s SKU’s in adequate quantity.
+ Know the products. Undertake timely and effective implementation of company’s product promotion plan to enhance distribution penetration and improve visibility of Abbott and its brands.
+ Roll out of clinic rental program
+ Maintain good relations with the top hospitals so as to secure the best rotation months
+ Maintain records and send reports including tour programs, daily, weekly reports, expense claims, orders and information about competitive products and activities.
+ Prepare Standard List of Customers (SLC) based on market research so that the doctors, chemists and institutions are properly selected and constantly updated.
+ Identify new business development opportunities by submitting uncovered customers (doctors/chemists/institutions) list and develop a plan in consultation with your superiors.
+ Select core doctors on each product and mark on SLC and ensure required sampling and frequency.
+ Record visit of customers (doctors/chemists) on SLC and submit it to the superior, when required.
+ Make daily call average of not less than 10 calls on listed doctors in every cycle of 30 days, so as to achieve national call average of 10 and more.
+ Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual value wise and unit wise product targets
+ Regularly maintain your Sales Reckoner for discussion with your immediate superiors and for business planning.
+ Undertake timely and effective implementation of Company’s Product Promotion Plan and during in-clinic activity diligently detail products to improve prescription, brand image and corporate image.
+ Conduct mass contacts and doctors’ meetings for improving customer relations and company’s image
+ Select group of doctors or individual doctors who should be called for special doctors’ meeting.
+ Obtain feedback on market conditions and impact of promotional strategy affecting movement of Company’s products as well as that of competitors through Retail Audit to monitor the prescriptions of leading and core doctors for each product.
+ Secure the best rotation months in hospitals for the company
+ Roll out of the clinic rental program
+ Submit duly filled daily report along with weekly summary of work and expense claim by the first working day of the following week.
+ Undertake market research activity and promptly send market information or customer information required from time to time by Head Office or Field Managers.
+ Extend full co-operation to Company executives during field visits and conferences.
**Requirements:**
+ Graduate in Food Science/ Food technology/ Nutrition / Medicine/ Science/ Pharmaceuticals/ Nutrition.
+ 3 – 4 years experience in Ethical Sales
+ Selling skills, communication skills, query handling skills, soft skills for reporting
+ Good communication skills –verbal, Presentation skills.
+ Networking Ability.

+ Ethical behavior compliant with Malaysian Code of Ethics
