This posting is for a part-time position working 12 hours per week to fill a need from 4pm-8pm.
Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
Maintains a safe, sanitary work environment conforming to policies and regulationsOperates and maintains food service equipmentCommunicates patient food needs and feedback to appropriate areaProcesses diet orders, corrects menus, tallies menu items and performs other patient meal tasks accurately per established procedureServes and picks up patient meal trays per policy; records intake per policyStores, labels and dates food items; uses the First In, First Out (FIFO) methodologyFollows HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point) principles for time and temperature; records per policyServes menu items for patients and guests utilizing correct servicing utensil and serving sizeWashes dishes, serviceware and pots/pans in the dishroom and pot/pan areaRemoves trash, boxes and other waste from the departmentCleans throughout the department including but not limited to surfaces, equipment, carts, walls, and floorsPerforms other duties as assignedMust be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.These statements are intended to describe the essential functions of the job and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
