the health of our communitiesJob SummaryThe Nursing Talent Manager is responsible for attracting and efficiently hiring qualified and competent experienced registered nurses new to practice nurses and nursing support staff who embrace HHCrsquos mission and values In collaboration with Talent Acquisition manages and implements a nursing recruitment plan for assigned units under the direction of Nursing leadershipThe Nursing Talent Manager utilizes hisher knowledge in contemporary nursing practice and care delivery systems to select appropriate candidates to meet current and future staffing needs These responsibilities include the execution of the candidate selection process screening and interview guides applicant interviews and related correspondence relationship building and adherence Tracking System ATS preferredValid Connecticut Registered Nurse licenseKnowledge Skills and Ability RequirementsKnowledgeable in the scope of practice for multiple nurse specialties and structure of hospital departmentsKnowledge of in the standards of nursing practiceKnowledge of quality safety and other processes in a healthcare settingCompetent in Microsoft Office Word PowerPoint and excelExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenDemonstrates ability to gather and evaluate data collate trends and report out findingsDemonstrates leadership skills and a commitment to the delivery of patient care and servicesKnowledgeable in best practice interview strategies ie behavioral interviewingMust be able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative teamThe ability to work constructively with a diverse group of employees at all levels of the organizationThe ability to prioritize effectively and remain calm in a fast paced environmentThe ability to successfully illustrate the value and contribution of assigned area of responsibility within the department and across the organizationDemonstrates decision making ability and resourcefulness to find appropriate
