**Position Purpose**
At **Saint Mary’s Hospital** , the Nursing Supervisor (House) serves as the on-site leadership that ensures safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across all units by coordinating nursing operations, supporting staff, and resolving clinical and administrative issues. The supervisor acts as a resource for nursing teams and collaborates with other departments to maintain continuity of care and operational efficiency.
**What You Will Do**
+ Support and guide nursing staff across departments.
+ Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.
+ Resolve clinical and operational issues in real time.
+ Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
**Minimum Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
+ Current Connecticut RN license.
**Preferred:**
+ The ideal candidate will have experience as a Nurse Supervisor in an Inpatient acute care facility. With a history of nursing experience or leadership roles within the ICU or Inpatient Critical Care setting. Ideal roles would be as a Charge Nurse or Assistant Nurse Manager.
+ BLS or CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
+ Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS).
+ Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
+ Support available for certifications post-hire.
**Important Consideration:**
This role is not designed for new graduates or those seeking training for Nursing Supervision experience. Candidates must be able to function independently as a Nurse Supervisor in an inpatient Trauma Center.
**Position Highlights and Benefits**
+ Per Diem – Rotating Shifts.
+ Shifts can be a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts. Will require support on nights, weekends, and holidays
+ Hourly position, eligible for shift differentials.
+ Compensation Range: $44.05 min - $70.50 max.
