Logan Health – Whitefish is looking for a collaborative and engaged Registered Nurse to step into the role of Nursing Excellence Coordinator!
This part-time position offers a flexible 20-hour-per-week schedule at our 25-bed critical access hospital in scenic Whitefish, Montana. Located in the heart of the Flathead Valley, the area offers year-round outdoor recreation, including skiing, hiking, biking, rafting, and easy access to breathtaking Glacier National Park.
What you'll be doing:
This role provides leadership and structure to Whitefish’s Shared Governance Councils, supporting chairs and co-chairs as they set goals and drive initiatives. By offering research support, strategic guidance, and collaboration across teams, this position helps translate ideas into impactful, evidence-based practice.
Assist with the facilitation of council meetings and represent Nursing Excellence at both staff and leadership levels
Source and share current best practices and research to inform nursing initiatives
Produce quarterly newsletters and contribute regular updates to staff meetings and nursing leadership
Collaborate with the Clinical Nursing Excellence team in Kalispell and partner on systemwide initiatives with Billings Clinic
Identify goals, formulate strategies, and implement innovative solutions that support quality, safety, and professional practice
Review and help maintain compliance with relevant policies and procedures
Monitor and report key data related to Nursing Excellence initiatives

What you must have:
A current Montana RN license or compact license with MT practice privileges
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required
Current Healthcare Provider CPR required.

Experience with shared governance or participation in shared governance councils is preferred

Shift:
Variable (United States of America)Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week. Days of the week and hours per day are flexible!
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
