Responsible for working alongside nurses and material management in providing support services for the operating room.  Ensures patients and families have a positive experience by exhibiting alertness, collaboration, teamwork, and a positive attitude.


Principal Accountabilities:
1. Supports nursing personnel in the care of the patient during surgery.
2. Does daily am and pm environment of care checks
3. Is responsible for Maintenace and reporting of repairs needed on patient care equipment used during surgery. Collaborates with supervisors and biomed. Keeps equipment    room neat and orderly.
4. Transports patients within the facility for surgery.
5. responsible to stock Substerile areas, OR rooms, maintain PAR levels, and check for outdated items.
6. Ensures a safe care environment for the patients and their families.
7. complies with education as assigned for related duties.
8. assembles case carts for cases as needed.

9. assists EVS to facilitate room turn-overs

10. Performs other related duties as assigned.
