Position Summary:
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our outpatient General Psychiatry team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock. You will be an integral part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, working alongside six psychiatrists to deliver compassionate, high-quality mental health care. This role does not include inpatient responsibilities, and there are currently no other APPs on the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and follow-up visitsDevelop and manage individualized treatment plans in coordination with psychiatristsProvide medication management and psychoeducation to patientsMonitor patient progress, respond to clinical changes, and adjust care plans as neededMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system - EPICParticipate in case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetingsQualifications:
Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Texas
