Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will support Vascular surgery. APP will have independent clinic as well as support with some hospital discharges.The APP will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. APP will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first line provider to patients and their families. Provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care. Works in collaboration with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently. Specific procedures as per credentialing as indicated by training and experience. Prior ambulatory clinic experience preferred.Prior Vascular experience preferred.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

Master's degree in nursing or Bachelor's Degree or Completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner and current State license as a Registered Nurse or Requires Michigan state licensure and continued certification by the National. Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Current BLS. Current ACLS/ATLS/PALS provider status as required by department.
