Posting Number NONAC3624 Job Title Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Position Title Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Position Type Non-Faculty Number of vacancies 1 Salary Commensurate with experience Department Medicine Position Summary Morehouse School of Medicine’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities, increase the diversity of the healthcare professionals and scientific workforce, and address primary health care needs through programs in education, research, and serviceWe are looking for an APP to join the infectious diseases section in the department of medicine at Grady Memorial Hospital. The APP will be working with the Infectious Disease (ID) Faculty in the inpatient ID consultation service daily, as well as the outpatient clinic two half days per week
The incumbent should expect to provide care to 8-10 patients daily

Master’s Degree or higher required. Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification and licensure in the state of Georgia are required. Experience: 5-8 years of related experience.
Physician Assistant:
Graduation from a Physician’s Assistant Training Program accredited by the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA); licensed or eligibility for licensing to practice in the State of Georgia; certified as a Physician Assistant by the State Board of Georgia or nationally board certified;
Experience: a minimum of (2) years of professional-level experience as a Physician Assistant.
. Prior experience or interest in diagnosing and treating general ID and HIV patients
. Valid DEA .
