**Responsibilities**
The Gonda Vascular Center has an opening for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team. This exciting position allows for opportunities to practice in subspecialty vascular areas such as wound care, thrombophilia, vascular medicine, and the vein clinic, providing consultation and care to patients who are seen in the outpatient setting. Practice responsibilities will include clinical evaluation, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing, pharmacologic treatment, lifestyle counseling, outpatient procedures, and referral for surgical intervention versus medical management. This role may also include approximately one week a month in the inpatient setting Monday – Friday days providing consultation and care in collaboration with the Vascular Medicine Consultant team. The NPs and PAs are integral members of the Gonda Vascular Center team!
This role may be filled at a 0.8 to 1.0 FTE.
**Qualifications**
Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current MN RN and APRN license and certification as an FNP, ACNP, or ANP.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the MN State Board of Medical Practice.
Must be eligible for DEA registration and billing privileges.
Strong written and oral communication skills are required and must have demonstrated skill in working collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team. Wound care and/or Cardiovascular experience preferred, but not required.
