The position requires the ability to communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient's clinical condition; results of diagnostic studies; and patient symptomatology as appropriate. National certification (e.g. ANCC or AANP) as a Nurse Practitioner with recertification every 5 years under regulating agencies guidelines. Current prescriptive authority in the state of Wisconsin (APNP certification and DEA) obtaining 8 contact hours per year in clinical pharmacology/therapeutics relevant to Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber’s area of practice. Current BLS and ACLS certification. **Physician Assistant:** Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant Program; NCCPA Certified and licensed through the State of Wisconsin. Must complete 100 hours of CME every two (2) years and take the recertification exam every ten (10) years. Must be supervised by licensed physician. Prescriptive Authority in the State of Wisconsin (WI Board of Medical Examiners and DEA). Current BLS and ACLS certification.
