Neurosurgery APP, Casual / PRN

The APRN - Surgery, under the supervision of a physician, provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services to patients in the surgery unit.

Education: Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with specialization in area of practice.Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio; Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required. American Nurses; Credentialing Center (ANCC) is preferred; Holds a current Certificate of Authority (COA) from the Ohio Board of Nursing; Hold a Certificate to Prescribe (CTP) or a Certificate to Prescribe Externship (CTP-E) from the Ohio Board of Nursing for prescriptive authority or ability to obtain as required.(NCCPA) certification. BLS certification required. ACLS certification may be requiredExperience: Previous clinical experience providing advanced care to surgery patients·Effective Communication Skills·Maintains a supervision agreement with the supervising physicians.Strong organizational and leadership skills, self-directed and flexible
