Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a contract Nurse practitioner III for a notable energy company in Brooklyn NY. **Pay: Up to 67/hr depending on experience and education** **Job Purpose** Provide medical care, treatment, consultation, and case management for employees with occupational illnesses or injuries. Ensure the ongoing health, safety, and well-being of the workforce, reduce lost-time incidents, and collaborate with business leaders and external medical providers to facilitate prompt and safe return-to-work following occupational injury or disease. **Key Accountabilities** + Conduct physical examinations and Respiratory Fit Testing (RFT) to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. + Partner with internal teams and external medical providers to support timely employee return-to-work following occupational illness or injury. + Collect, analyze, and report health data to provide senior leadership and external regulators (e.g., DOT, Hearing Conservation) with accurate, up-to-date information. + Evaluate compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, promoting a safe workplace and minimizing risk. + Manage the on-site health office and provide walk-in treatment and care as needed. + Perform pre-employment physical exams and manage the evaluation, treatment, and case management of occupational injuries (acute and chronic). + Administer drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, random, and reasonable cause) in accordance with organizational policy. + Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external medical providers to share best practices and support business objectives. + Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in caring for injured and ill employees. **Qualifications** + Bachelor of Science in Nursing or another discipline qualifying for entry into a Physician Assistant Master’s Program. + Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN – Nurse Practitioner) or Master of Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science, or Medical Science. + Board Certification: American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or NCCPA (Physician Assistant-Certified).
