**Responsibilities**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Geriatric Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to our senior patients within our inpatient hospital setting. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
**The Opportunity:**
+ Monday - Friday daytime schedule
+ Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including medical history, mental status examinations, and psychosocial evaluations.
+ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic interventions.
+ Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
+ Provide education and support to patients and their families.
+ Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
+ Document all patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record.
+ Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the program.
+ Maintain current knowledge of best practices in geriatric psychiatry.

**Qualifications**
**Qualifications:**
+ Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
+ Current and valid Arkansas APRN license (or eligible to obtain).
+ National certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
+ Experience working with geriatric patients in a psychiatric setting is **preferred** .
+ Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Proficiency in electronic health record documentation.

**Pay Range**
$45.39 - $68.10 /hour
