**Responsibilities** CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, AR is seeking a passionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our thriving Gastroenterology Clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to work independently within a supportive and collaborative environment, providing high-quality care to patients in the Hot Springs community. **About the Clinic:** Our GI Clinic is a well-established practice consisting of one experienced Physician and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP). We pride ourselves on our hard-working and motivated support staff who are committed to providing exceptional patient care. **About the Role:** As a Nurse Practitioner in our GI Clinic, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive gastroenterological care to patients, including: + Taking patient histories and performing examinations. + Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging). + Diagnosing and managing a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions. + Developing and implementing treatment plans. + Prescribing medications as needed. + Providing patient education and counseling. + Collaborating with the physician and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. + Seeing patients independently. **Schedule:** + Full-time, Monday - Thursday + Approximately 22-23 patients seen per day, independently + Half-day on Friday + Approximately 11-12 patients seen on Friday **Benefits:** CHI St. Vincent offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: + Competitive salary + Medical, dental, and vision insurance + Paid time off (PTO) + Continuing medical education (CME) allowance + Retirement plan **Qualifications** + Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. + Current and valid Arkansas APRN license (or eligible to obtain). + National certification as a Nurse Practitioner. + DEA license (or eligible to obtain). + Strong clinical skills and knowledge of gastroenterology. + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Experience in gastroenterology is preferred, but not required.
