Nurse Care Navigator Responsibilities: + Work with medical staff to create patient care plans + Work one-on-one with patients and newborn to ensure their needs are met + Develop and implement policies and protocols that will ensure the success of our program + Serve as point of contact between providers and patients + Be a familiar, reliable, and accessible resource for patients as they navigate a stressful time + Obtain patient outcomes after delivery + Ensure that all HIPAA regulations are followed + BSN degree required. + Valid registered nurse license to practice in New Jersey. + BLS certification required. + Previous experience in pediatrics, maternal fetal medicine, or obstetrics preferred. + Prior healthcare administration experience would also contribute to success in this role. + Working knowledge of key medical terminology and willingness to learn about the clinical aspects of perinatal care. + Excellent communication, empathy, and leadership skills + Skill at implementing new protocols and procedures to optimize efficiency
