Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. The hospitals within McLeod Health include: McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris, McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon and McLeod Behavioral Health.  

Essential Job Function:

Facilitates the appropriate care of surgical patients to include the pre-operative, operative, and post-operative period by adherence to clinical, administrative, and educational standards. Monitors associated quality improvements. Works collaboratively with other community agencies. Serves as patient advocate and liaison to patients, physicians and other hospital departments. Promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and team work .to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes within effective time frames. Develops relationships with providers in the McLeod Health Network to ensure consistency in patient management. Performs other tasks, duties, or responsibilities as assigned or needed for effective, safe, and efficient functioning and operation of the hospital.

Qualifications/Training

3-5 years of clinical experience  Some education or management experience  Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Basic knowledge of computer software applications, Microsoft Office Programs Basic knowledge of statistics

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education

LPN / RN Nursing License verified by the LLR

Work Schedule

Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly  (day shift)
