**Job Title:** Nurse Manager II **Department:** Patient Advisory Nurse (PAN)/ ECC Nurse Triage **Location:** West Campus- 5701 Airport Rd, Temple TX 76502 **Status:** Full Time **Total Dept FTEs:** 80 **Job Summary** As the Nurse Manager for PAN/ECC Nurse Triage, you foster a positive team environment, uphold high nursing standards, promote teamwork, and ensure patient safety. You are responsible for planning, policy implementation, resource and financial management, and quality improvement. You also coordinate educational programs as needed. This role provides nurse triage support and patient advisory services across all 29 Baylor Scott & White hospitals, clinics, and BSW health plan members. **Essential Functions of the Nurse Manager PAN/ECC Nurse Triage Role:** + Formulate and communicate a clear vision for nursing practices within your area of responsibility. + Involve supervisors and other staff in setting and accomplishing departmental goals. + Continually update your knowledge base with the latest evidence-backed clinical and leadership practices. + Foster a healing and supportive environment for patients, families, and fellow staff members. + Recognize development needs and facilitate educational opportunities for staff members. + Set a positive example of professionalism within the nursing field and work atmosphere. + Incorporate the organization's mission and goals into strategies for staff and patient care. **Key Success Factors of the Nurse Manager PAN/ECC Nurse Triage Role:** + Knowing nursing practices, following healthcare laws, and communicating well. + Quality care, patient focus, and ethical practices are essential. + Decision-making, resource management, and ethics are crucial skills. + Strategic Innovation + Strong Technology skills (EPIC, Reporting, Telephone system, etc.) + Operational experience (new initiative rollouts) **About Us** Here at Baylor Scott & White Health we promote the well-being of all individuals, families, and communities.
