Eddy Village Green in Cohoes, NY has an opportunity for a nurse to work as a manager on their Green House campus!  This is a great opportunity for a nurse looking to develop in their profession or those looking at bringing their experience to a team driven facility where your opinions and thoughts are heard!

This is a 192 bed skilled nursing facility providing care in a non-traditional way through 16 twelve bed houses. Greenhouse is a pioneering effort in long term care bringing control back to the elders that live in the houses by honoring their lifelong routines and preferences. In addition to the culture change in care delivery there is also a relationship shift between nurses and the C.N.A's that manage the individual houses.

The selected candidate would be expected/ but not limited to:

Manage the clinical care of 48 elders on the 192 bed campusManage care plans and work closely with MDS, interdisciplinary team, medical staff and consultantsAct as a liaison between family members and facility and would be expected to participate in quality initiativesFacilitate collegial relationships in the interdisciplinary teamsAssume responsibility for the management of fiscal and material resourcesDemonstrate the organization’s commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees.Accountability for the human resource and outcome management for designated resident populations

Minimum Requirements:

Valid NYS RN licenseAssociate’s degree in nursing5+ yrs of experience as a RN1+ yrs in a leadership role as a RN

Preferred Requirements:

3+ yrs of experience in a long term care facility1+ yr of experience with finical managementMDS experienceBachelor’s degree in nursingHighest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilitiesStrong conflict mediation skillsExcellent communication in a fast pace work environment across teams on different shifts and different departmentsHighest level of engagement within a team setting to promote a positive work environmentPromote and embrace the culture of the facilityLeadership and mentorship skills overseeing nursing and nursing support staffPassion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Pay Range: $92,352 - $117,104 per year

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
