Job Summary Nurse Manager – Women and Children Unit (Family Care) at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC Novant Health Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Hospital is a 195,000-square-foot facility offering specialized care for women and children in Wilmington. We’ve been part of the community since 2008, providing local access to routine obstetrical care, subspecialty pediatric services and critical pediatric care to area residents. In the past few years, we have been recognized with the following: High-Performing Hospital - Maternity, U.S. News & World Report Best Maternity Care Hospital, Newsweek, 2022 Breastfeeding-Friendly Designation, NC Division of Public Health, 2020 Responsibilities: Oversee nursing staff, drive clinical excellence, and ensure compassionate, patient-centered care for women and children Manage daily operations of the Women’s and Children’s Unit Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff to deliver exceptional care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Master's degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of two years clinical RN experience in an acute care setting required. Licensure/certification/registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state required. BLS required. Prior demonstrated leadership preferred.
