Performs patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with professional practices and ethical standards.
Primary Responsibilities:Provides direct patient care, including treatments under supervision of an RN. Provides basic patient care services such as ambulating, transferring, and positioning; personal hygiene assistance, prescribed bowel and bladder program assistance, meal set-up, etc.Assists with procedures and treatments within scope of training and competency validation, as directed and supervised by the registered nurse.
