GENERAL SUMMARY

Department: Emergency  - Schedule: Will work 36 hours within a 6 week schedule - Hospital: Henry Ford Warren - Location: Warren, MI

Under the supervision of a nurse, provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. - Complete assigned nursing orders as directed by preceptor, including assisting patient with activities of daily living and taking vital signs. - Observe patient status and responses. Document and report observations to preceptor or other appropriate staff. - Assist preceptor with development of care plan by reporting test results and patient observations. - Perform other tasks as assigned, including environmental services and preparing/transporting patients for diagnostic services.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Education: - High school diploma/GED required.
