Job Summary and Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Intermediate Care (IMC) Float Pool Registered Nurse employs critical thinking to integrate objective data with knowledge gained from an assessment of the subjective experiences of patients. Registered nurses use this critical thinking process to apply the best available evidence and research data to the processes of diagnosis and treatment. Nurses continually evaluate quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and seek to optimize outcomes. The  Intermediate Care (IMC) Float Pool Registered Nurse provides care to patients in the IMC areas.  

This position is represented by CNA and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Job Requirements

Minimum:  

Two years' experience as an RN in an Intermediate Care Setting.  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.   RN = Registered Nurse license from the State of NV Nursing Board. CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support - AHA CT CPRACLS - Advanced Life Support - AHA 
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Preferred: 

Float Pool experience.  Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  Certification in specialty area.  Where You'll Work
