8 hours a week required until graduationWhere You Will Work:
· Experience a true Orthopedic Med/Surg environment on 3MESG, South Shore’s primary surgical unit, where you'll care for patients recovering from procedures like total knee replacements, bowel resections, and amputations.
· Broaden your clinical exposure with a diverse mix of medical cases—from pneumonia and DKA to alcohol withdrawal—and stable pediatric patients aged 16+, all within a fast-paced 33-bed unit averaging 28 patients daily.
We’re Looking For:
Currently enrolled in an accredited or approved program in Nursing.successful completion of Med/Surg 1 and pharmacologyUnofficial transcript required at time of offer.What You’ll Do:
Support patient care under RN supervision by assisting with daily activities, vital signs, and medication administration while gaining hands-on clinical experience.Build foundational nursing skills through collaboration, observation, and participation in care planning, emergency response, and team communication.About This Location:
