Night Per Diem CSICU Registered Nurse
Join our nationally renowned state of the art 6-bed Cardiac Surgery/Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit, and be part of a Cardiac Surgery program headed by the largest and busiest Cardiothoracic group in Northern California. The staff in the CSICU is comprised entirely of RNs with training in post-operative Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) recovery and certified in managing patients on Intra Aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP). We are also a Neuroscience and Stroke Certified Center and our nurses’ care for complex neurological patients, such as postoperative neurosurgery patients requiring EVD placement and ICP management and brain edema treatment protocols.
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Assessment: Performs total body and system assessment each shift/visit according to unit standards.Care of Patient: Including planning, implementing, evaluating and educating.Clinical/Technical Skills: Utilizes technology, procedures, protocols, standards and interventions specific to assigned unit.Documentation: Performs legible, timely, concise and accurate documentation according to policies and procedures. Proficient and competent with the computerized documentation system.Leadership: Accepts responsibility and accountability for own decisions and behaviors. Recognizes, accepts and cooperates with direction from facility leadership.Precepting/Mentoring: Participates in orientation of new staff, ancillary personnel and mentors students in a constructive and positive manner. Job Requirements
Required
