Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday rotation
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12 hours shifts)

As a Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and well-being. Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will assist with essential patient care tasks and actively contribute to a positive patient experience.
ABOUT OUR UNIT:
Our 44-bed Medical Surgical Unit provides compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals across the lifespan. Sixteen of our beds can accommodate patients requiring cardiac monitoring, while others care for surgical patients who need inpatient observation and recovery support. We are also the preferred hospice unit, providing comfort and dignity to patients and families during end-of-life care, with Palliative and Hospice Care as essential resources.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical ability to lift and move patients, supplies, and equipment. Prolonged standing, walking, and lifting of patients, supplies, and equipment. Works in patient care area environments, which may include exposure to communicable diseases, unpleasant odors, acute patient conditions, potential exposure to infection, and hazardous gases.
