Nurse
Airswift is looking for a Nurse to work on an outsourced contract (2 years) in Mexico City or Tampico with an Oil and Gas company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the International Business area in the anticipation, recognition, evaluation and effective control of health risks.
Identify suitable facilities for medical response plans and treatment of occupational injuries/illnesses in conjunction with the Regional Medical Directors.
Consult the Company Medical Director when emergency transport is necessary.
Establish, monitor, and report on health performance indicators to achieve defined KPIs.
Interact with the Woodsdie (Cority) medical records database.
Facilitate the timely identification and payment of suppliers and service providers related to Occupational Health.
Assess, treat, and manage cases of occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses in accordance with the Occupational Injury/Illness Case Management Procedure.
Follow approved Occupational Health and Hygiene procedures.
Communicate with third parties, as necessary, to ensure adequate medical care for injured workers and adherence to Woodside policies and reporting, when applicable.
Follow Site Medical Response Protocols.
Lead and/or conduct testing or screening programs (e.g., audiometric tests, pulmonary function tests, ergonomic assessments, alcohol and drug tests, blood pressure checks).
Oversee the completion of annual financial examinations and Travel Health Assessments (including vaccination, health education, etc.).
 Offer health advice and refer employees to other health professionals (e.g., doctors, psychologists, physical therapists).
 Work with other members of the organization to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate employee wellness programs (e.g., immunization programs, health training, fitness programs).
 Promote compliance with legislation and regulations related to health and safety and workers' compensation.
Experience in occupational health, hygiene, injury management, medical assessment, and knowledge of risk assessment techniques.
Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Understanding of Mexican and OSHA procedures for recording and classifying injury/illness cases.
Drug and Alcohol Testing Certification.
Occupational Hearing Conservation Certification (CAOHC).
 Ergonomic assessment training.
Current CPR/AED certification.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
Valid and registered professional license
Experience or training in occupational medicine, including case management
 Strong commitment to company values
Ability to anticipate, recognize, assess, and control health risks in the workplace • Advanced certification - COHN, CCM certification (preferred, but not mandatory)
Knowledge of occupational health-related software (Cority, Chemalert, etc.)
