Job Description:

Allied Universal has security jobs and are seeking to fill the position for an Armed Nuclear Security Shift Supervisor. The Nuclear Security Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising and evaluating the conduct and performance of the security officers and/or Sergeants in his/her assigned unit or team. He or she is qualified to perform the duties of the Central Alarm Station (CAS) or Secondary Alarm Station (SAS) operator. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations and facility and company policies, procedures, and/or guidelines. The Shift Supervisor performs post inspections, assigns work to employees, issues weapons and equipment, and handles employee issues and concerns.

COMPENSATION-$38.01 - $38.76 hourly

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify safety and/or fire hazards and make recommendations for improvementReport degradation, deficiencies, and accidents in accordance with current procedures and take appropriate corrective actions as directed by Security force SupervisionControl access of personnel, vehicles and materials into the protected area and maintain appropriate log

Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalentAs a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local lawsLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:

At least two (2) years of successful service as a Nuclear Security OfficerCompleted all training requirements for Sergeant-level Shift SupervisorKnowledge and Skills Required:Be able to work scheduled twelve-hour shifts Be able to operate a radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors and surveillance equipment. Demonstrate an ability to interact cordially and communicate with the publicQualified to perform as a Central Alarm Station (CAS) or Secondary Alarm Station (SAS) operator
