Hartford HealthCare network and is the systemrsquos second largest hospitalJob Summarybull Performs nuclear medicine therapeutic and diagnostic procedures providingquality images to radiologists and physicians for interpretationResponsibilitiesbull Maintains and operates cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs in apatients body to create diagnostic imagesbull Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical factors accuratelybull Orders prepares administers and disposes of radiopharmaceuticalsaccording to established protocolsbull Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelinesbull Appropriately responds to any emergencies related to radioactive materialsbull Maintain and follow accreditation protocols and procedures work withmanagement to maintain accreditationbull Maintain JCAHO standards as determinedbull Assure appropriateness of procedure by reviewing the radiology order placedprior to performing exam Should be able to explain procedure to
