Job Summary and Responsibilities

In keeping with the Dignity Health core values performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and therapy of disease.

This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.


Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

More than one (1) year previous experience as a nuclear medicine technicianCurrent on continuing education units required by the licensing boardsSpecial training in Nuclear MedicineCalifornia Nuclear Medicine Technician certification (CT NMT)Current AHA CPR card (CT CPRBLS)

Special Skills:

Demonstrates knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures in vivo and in vitro Radiopharmacy-dose calibration and calculations bio-routing of labeled products computers and some computer processing. Excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals. Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment. Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills. Demonstrates a caring compassionate attitude toward others. Excellent interpersonal skills.Where You'll Work
