What Inside Sales contributes to Cardinal Health
Inside Sales & Services is responsible for connecting with existing and potential customers through over the phone sales. We develop strong relationships with an assigned set of customers that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
The Senior Inside Sales Representative is tasked with servicing and growing Cardinal Health’s NPHS business as well as working closer with our National and Strategic teams. They are responsible for developing the NPHS business and building relationships with various stakeholders, including field sales, identifying new business leads across their territory, supporting the National/Strategic teams in identifying GPO compliance gaps, working on marketing initiatives, growing top line revenue to meet or exceed budget and leading the ISS team in best practices.
Cardinal Health’s pharmaceutical segment operates the world’s largest network of nuclear pharmacies and is expanding its positron emission tomography (PET) agent manufacturing capabilities. For over a quarter of a century, the Nuclear and Precision Health Solutions (NPHS) business of Cardinal Health has set the standard for the radiopharmaceutical industry. This business is responsible for manufacturing, dispensing and delivering products that aid in the early diagnosis and treatment of disease. Nuclear Pharmacy Services, whose network of roughly 130 pharmacies fills 65% of radiopharmaceutical unit dose nationwide, has consistently demonstrated leadership through innovation and a commitment to excellence. 1–3 years of inside sales, B2B sales, or customer service experience in a healthcare or technical environmentStrong communication and relationship-building skillsInterest in nuclear medicine, imaging, or pharmaceutical salesProactive and self-driven with a desire to transition into a field-based sales roleCRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)Works on complex problems and can develop appropriate solutions
What is expected of you and others at this level
Demonstrate ownership and accountability in the coordination and deployment of all Cardinal NPHS resources in accordance with the business plan to achieve financial and strategic objectives
Identify new sales opportunities and promote Cardinal Health’s strategic priorities with clients within the assigned territory and in support of the Strategic Accounts teams
Lead and directs the development and implementation of specific strategies and tactics that achieve overall annual revenue growth and profit objectives
Knows internal resources (who to go for what) and builds internal networks throughout Cardinal Health to assist with customer needs as appropriate
Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks related to Cardinal Health Nuclear offerings, having a broad understanding of the benefits of each solution
Effectively understands the contracting administration process and how to execute pricing negotiations, positioning Cardinal NPHS strategically
Build and sustain relationships founded on trust with internal and external customers and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
Efficient knowledge of current applicable computer systems, and computer software/hardware processes and procedures
Anticipated pay range: $90,160-$114,288 (includes targeted variable pay)
